Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how HIIT Timer: Interval Workouts ("the app", "we", "us") handles information when you use the app. HIIT Timer: Interval Workouts is built to work as a focused workout timer — it does not require an account, and it does not collect personal information beyond what's described below.

Information stored on your device

The app stores the following data locally on your device only, using standard Android app storage:

• Workout plans you create or save (intervals, rounds, durations)
• Your app settings and preferences (theme, accent color, sound/haptics toggles, default durations)
• Your workout history (dates, durations, completed rounds)

This data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to us or any third party. It is deleted automatically if you uninstall the app, or if you clear the app's storage from your device settings.

Purchases and subscriptions

If you purchase a Pro subscription, the purchase is processed by Google Play Billing and managed on our behalf by RevenueCat, a subscription management service. To do this, RevenueCat receives:

• An anonymous, randomly generated app user identifier (not tied to your name, email, or Google account)
• Purchase and subscription status information (product purchased, purchase date, renewal status)
• Basic device/app metadata needed to validate and restore purchases (e.g. app version, platform)

We use this information only to determine whether your account has an active Pro subscription, so the app can unlock the corresponding features. We do not receive or store your payment details — those are handled entirely by Google Play. You can review RevenueCat's own privacy practices at revenuecat.com/privacy.

Permissions the app requests

• Notifications — to alert you when a workout phase changes while the app is in the background.
• Foreground service — to keep your workout timer running accurately while the app is minimized.
• Wake lock — to keep the screen on during an active workout, if you enable that setting.

None of these permissions are used to collect or transmit personal data.

What we don't do

• We don't show ads or use advertising SDKs.
• We don't use analytics or tracking SDKs.
• We don't collect your name, email, contacts, location, or photos.
• We don't sell or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.

Children's privacy

HIIT Timer: Interval Workouts is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we'll update the effective date above. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
